Found Poetry #46
46 (cathy freeze)
a tip i picked up from ebear:
if you come to some physical beat
and can't figure out how to say it,
summarize and move onward.
that so helped me.
i got nothing done one day
because i sat there trying to figure out
which of my five characters in a scene would pat someone and how they'd help someone else to a chair or what would they sit on!
i got so silly and bogged down.
today, i just used brackets -
[gina gets the zombie
to stand at the back
of the shed.
esperanza squints to see
him in the dark
in his black jacket]
- and went on with the scene.
