(no subject)

[info]ccfinlay has wished me a happy birthday in the comments section of my previous LJ entry. Such wishes are especially welcome today, as it is, in fact, the anniversary of the day of my birth.

Thanks, Charlie!

Tita will be treating me to dinner at my choice of restaurants this evenng, that being Outback, as I find myself craving frozen Margaritas, Too-Woomba Pasta, and Ribs on the Barbie. (We enjoyed sushi at Sho-gun on Friday.)

Meanwhile, I continue working on El Bombón de Elena, the screen adaptation of a stage musical written by a friend of mine.

Happy Birthday to Me!

It's official. I am now sixty.

My Aunt Leo, who is ninety, and my Uncle Bob, who is eighty-five, have invited us (Tita, Tara, who is down for the weekend from West Palm Beach for a friend's wedding, my mother Estrella, who is eighty-six, and me) to Sunday brunch at The Swiss Table in the Hotel Pierre (Ian is in Raleigh).

Tita and Tara will take me to dinner.
