Going Like Sixty - Part 5
On the plus side, yesterday I managed to hit the 20-and-a-half page mark of the Going Like Sixty screenplay I'm currently working on.
On the minus side, I had hoped to reach the first act turning point, but I'm still a few scenes short (I blame having to attend a 5 P.M. meeting of the local film producers association, followed by having to teach a 6-9 P.M. screenwriting class, then watching the American Idol results show with my wife from 9-10 P.M.).
Today, I need to finish an English-to-Spanish translation of some website content for a local bank before I get back to the screenplay, but once that's done, I'm hoping to be able to wrap up act one.
Of course, I'd also like to finish critiquing Jim Morrow's latest novel in time to ship the manuscript back to him on Monday, given that he needs to start working on revisions this week. I'm currently up to only page 273 out a total of 471, so it will be interesting to see how things turn out.
